Welcome to the Village of Bethel, Ohio. Bethel is located about 40 minutes from downtown Cincinnati and 13 miles north of the Ohio River. As of the 2000 census, there are 2,637 people, 1012 households, and 682 families residing in the village. Bethel operates its own electric and water distribution plants and has its own police department with 6 fulltime and 7 auxiliary sworn police officers and one fulltime police clerk. Bethel also has its own fire protection and EMS (life squad) services that are controlled by Tate Township.

The village municipal building is located at 120 North Main Street and is open every weekday from 8:00 a.m-4:00 p.m. Voicemail is available 24 hours a day to take your questions or comments. In the municipal building you can pay your utility bill, use our copy and fax machines, have documents notarized, apply for zoning/building permits, and other various services. The Village of Bethel was awarded the Ohio Department of Natural Resources NatureWorks Grant which will be used to build, in Burke Park, a skateboarding park.
